ScholarshipsCriteria - Scholarship I - T Shirt Design Are you creative? Do you have an eye for fashion? We are looking for a new T shirt design that will be worn by hundreds of students in 2009. We want your creatives!! The design must portray CampusBookRentals.com, but with style. Be creative. Be abstract. Be crazy. Remember you have the whole T shirt to work with. We'll take a look at anything. We'll award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place scholarships for the top 3 designs. Submit your basic information to the right, then be sure to email info@CampusBookRentals.com with an attachment in PDF or JPG of the design. Any student submitting a T shirt design, will also be automatically entered into our drawing below. Good luck! Scholarship II General Entry. Simply enter your name to the right and we'll draw a scholarship winner for the Fall 2009 semester. It doesn't get any easier than this. Good luck! Rules - All submissions are due by November 24th 2008. Awardees will be announced on December 10th 2008. Submitting the scholarship application is considered automatic consent to allow CampusBookRentals.com to post the awardees first name and university along with a small bio on the student's idea and why they were selected. Students must be attending a degree granting institution within the United States to be eligible. All terms of the Rental Agreement still apply. Books remain the property of CampusBookRentals.com and must be returned at the conclusion of the semester. Awardees must register with CampusBookRentals.com and submit a copy of their class schedule to our scholarship committee in order to verify the validity of the scholarship. Scholarship is non-transferable. Our scholarship program may or may not be based on different criteria each semester. Fall 2008 Scholarship Winners Congratulations to the students listed below. Their ideas for our 2009 humanitarian project were selected by our scholarship committee as this semester's winners. All of their textbooks for Fall 2008 are free from CampusBookRentals.com. We received hundreds of great entries; many of which were similar to each other. Winners were picked based on specific details, elements, and explanations of their ideas. Below is a highly summarized description of their entry. Jennifer H. - Argosy University - West Virginia Fill a backpack program for less fortunate school kids in the USA as they go back to school. Sara A. - Brigham Young University - Utah Providing reading books and a substantial amount of basic supplies for a specific underprivileged elementary school in the USA. Christina S. - Upper Iowa University Rockford - Illinois Assisting to refurbish / rebuild a community park and playground area which has been devastated by a recent flood. The city does not have the funds replace essential ball diamonds, field, and playground equipment. This park is a must for the kids in the surrounding community. Dani W. - University of Rochester - Connecticut Organizing a Kids With A Cause drive to collect basic supplies (blankets, clothes, etc) for kids in need.
